Further east

Eastwards from Eype Mouth, the cliffs run under West Cliff. After a break for West Bay, the cliffs continue eastwards with the noticeably different East Cliff, then Burton Cliff and Beacon Knap.

Eastwards from Eype Mouth, the cliff face changes dramatically at Fault Corner.
This is due to the Eype Mouth Fault, where the nearer cliffs, (lower Eype Clay Bed to
a capping of Down Cliff Clay) are down-faulted, resulting in the further away cliffs 
being of younger beds, (lower Frome Clay capped by Forest Marble).
