Yastofusa (Yatsafusa) A 3 inch hot pepper from Japan. Tapered fruits, red when ripe, held high pointing upward on bushy 20 inch plants. Very decorative and does well in a large container. (Capsicum annuum). 80 days from transplant. Also known as Japanese Chile. Asian Heirloom pepper, early 1900's. Short lived perennial that can survive two to three years in mild climates. Yatsafusa is a kind of chile de Arbol.

Yolo Wonder (A, B & L) Sweet bell pepper with compact plants. 75 days to maturity. Resistant to mosaic virus. Large, green, thick-walled pepper with a heavy yield. Resembles the California Wonder pepper. Plant grows with slightly spreading habit. (Capsicum annuum).


Yorktown 70-75. Race 1, 2 and 3 resistant. Matures from green to red.

Yucatan Habanero Smooth skinned orange pepper.
