Waialua   Stubby pointed thick fleshed chile from Hawaii. Similar to the jalapeno.
Wax   Very shiny chiles. Some examples of 'Wax' type peppers include Hungarian Wax, Caloro, Torrido, Santa Fe Grande and Gold Spike. Sizes vary, as do heat levels and colours.
Weaver's Mennonnite Stuffing Pepper    
Weaver's Miniature Tomato Pepper   An old Pennsylvania Dutch tomato pepper, reminiscent of a tomato in shape, used for stuffing and pickling, about one to two inches, deep red colour, tasty. Rare.
Wedito   Hot yellow wax type peppers. 2 inches long with extreme heat. (Capsicum annuum).
Wenks Yellow Hots   Medium to hot thick fleshed waxy yellow pepper that ripens to a bright orange and then to red. (Capsicum annuum). From New Mexico.
West Indian Red Scotch Bonnet   Pod starts off greenish-white and matures through orange to fire-engine red. About 2.5 inches wide and about 1.5 inches tall. Great tasting pepper on a horizontal, bushy plant. From West Indies. (Capsicum chinense).
Westland Improved Hybrids   (Capsicum annuum).
White Cloud   Sweet pepper. (Capsicum annuum).
White Fire   Replacement developed for Santa Fe Grande pepper. 9cm creamy coloured conical pod. 8,000 SHU.
White Fire Hybrid   Miniature white bell pepper. Very early. 65 days.
White Habanero   Very rare Habanero. Small pods that resemble other Habanero varieties.
White Hungarian   Sweet Paprika.
White King   A hybrid sweet pepper maturing in 72 days.
White Litenin'   The pods resemble those of Snow White but are twice as large. They are 2 inches long and are white for an extended period in the garden. The compact plant is 2 foot tall with dark green leaves that are 4 inches long.
White Wax   An Italian pepper. 75 days.
Whopper   Sweet bell pepper.

Wild Brazil   Very hot. From Brazil. 0.4 inch long.
Wild Malaysian Cayenne    
Wild Piquin   (Capsicum annuum).
Wild Tabasco   Found in Costa Rica. 0.75 inches long by 0.25 inches wide. Matures from yellow to red. (Capsicum frutescens).
Wild Dynamo   Pea-sized hot pepper originating from Bolivia. Up to 400 pods per plant. Also known locally as Ulipica.
Wirri-Wirri   Very hot. Grows to 1.3 cm. Small berry-like red pepper. From Guiana.(Capsicum frutescens).
Wizard X3R   73 days. Tolerant to TMV.
Wonder Bell   Green bell pepper.
Wonderbelle   Green bell pepper.
World Beater   Huge bell peppers up to 6 inches across by 4 1/2 inches deep. Green turning to red when mature. 73 days. It is recommended that the green peppers are picked regularly allowing only the last few peppers to turn red.
