Sunshine Prune Chili 1 pound ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 (15-1/4-ounce) can kidney beans, drained 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce 3/4 cup pitted prunes, quartered 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves Salt and pepper, to taste Grated Cheddar cheese, to taste * In large saucepan, cook beef over medium-high heat until brown; drain off all but 1 tablespoon of drippings. Add onion and garlic; sauté, stirring 3 minutes. * Add beans, tomato sauce, prunes, chili powder and oregano; bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer about 25 minutes until thickened.
