Shillinglaw's Chili makes: 10 servings 1 tablespoon oil 1 medium onion diced 5 cloves garlic minced 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons chili powder 1 teaspoon allspice 5 dashes bitters 2 pounds lean ground beef 1 14 ounce can red kidney beans 1 25 ounce can crushed tomatoes In a large sauté pan, Sauté the onion and garlic followed by adding salt, chili powder, allspice, and bitters and then the ground beef. When the beef is cooked through, stir in the kidney beans and then add the crushed tomatoes. Cook until reduced and serve.
