From: mckeediggers@aol.com Subject: Grandma's Chili 2 lbs hamburger 29 oz tomato sauce 29 oz can kidney beans 29 oz pinto beans 1 small can green chilies 1 cup diced onion 1/4 cup diced celery 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 2 tsp cumin 3 Tbsp chili powder 1 1/2 tsp black pepper 2 tsp salt 2 cups water Brown hamburger, drain, and crumble. In a large Dutch oven - I just used my largest heaviest pot - combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat for 2-3 hours. Stir every 15 minutes. Serves 12 SPICIER - 2 tsp pepper Lots Spicier - 3 tsp pepper and 1 Tbsp cayenne FLAMMABLE - 5-6 sliced jalpeno peppers
