Allison's San Antonio Chili 1 T. bacon grease 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak, diced 1 onion, chopped 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 2 T. chili powder Mexican hot chili powder, to taste 1 t. beef bouillon 2 t. ground cumin 2 t. instant coffee 1 clove garlic, minced 2 (16 oz. each) cans spicy chili beans 1/4 c. cola 1. Add Fat to a hot large heavy pot over med-high heat. 2. Add steak and onion and cook. 3. When meat is browned and onion is tender, add: chile powder and garlic.
