My great-grandmother's chili by Ali Star from the Indian Health Service 1 pkg. chili tepins (1/4 oz.) oregano to taste 1/2 to 1 head of garlic, crushed 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce You will need a molcajete (stone grinding bowl) for this. Grind chili tepins and oregano in molcajete, add garlic, grind it all together. Then add tomato sauce and grind some more. pretty hot. But I sometimes put two packages of tepins in.
