Kick-Butt Chili from http://homeandfamily.com/ 1/4 cup olive oil 2 onions - chopped 3 garlic cloves - minced 1 jalepeno pepper - seeded and minced 2 lbs. sirloin steak - cubed 4 Tbs. chili powder 1 Tbs. cumin 3/4 tbs. ground cayenne 1 - 28 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 - 28 oz. can tomato puree 1 cup red navy beans 1 tsp. salt pepper Heat oil in a large pot. Add onions, garlic and jalepeno and saute' briefly. Add steak and brown on all sides. Add the chili powder, cumin, cayenne, tomatoes, and navy beans. Simmer the mixture o ver low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Serve the chili with toppings, such as; sour cream, onions, cheddar cheese or scallions. http://homeandfamily.com/
