Wisconsin Hunter's Venison Chili http://www.wisconsinhunter.com/Recipes/venison7.html 1 1/2 lbs. Ground venison 1 Onion, chopped 1/2 Green pepper, chopped 1/2 Cup chopped fresh mushrooms 1 Tbls. Chili pepper 1 tsp. Hot red pepper 1 28-oz. Can tomatoes 1 16-oz. Can kidney beans Cooking oil as needed In large pot, brown meat in 2 T oil and drain. Remove meat from pot. Heat 1 Tbls. oil in pot, add onions, pepper, and mushrooms and cook until tender. Add meat and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then decrease heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves: 6-8
