Too many onions chili http://www.recipecottage.com/chili/onion01.html 6 chopped onions garlic to taste oil 1.5 pounds beef 2 T paprika 2 t cumin 1 T black pepper 1 T chili powder 1 1/2 t salt 1 can diced tomatoes 1 small can tomato paste water 1 large can beans pinto or black Brown onions and garlic in oil till very dark. Optional: grill meat to seer both sides and allow to cool. Dice meat to 1/2 inch cubes. Remove onions from pan. Place meat in pan and brown. Add spices and salt cook for 5 minutes. Return onions to pan. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, and water. Cook till meat is tender. Ad just salt and spice heat as necessary. Add beans and cook 30 minutes.
