The Ontario Cattlemen's Association's Quick Chili (small servings for approx. 30 students) 1 kg lean ground beef 4x 400 mLcan of kidney beans 4x 150 mL can of tomato paste 60 mL instant minced onion / dried onion flakes 75 mL chili powder Cook beef in a hot non-stick frying pan until lightly browned. Drain off juices. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve chili in a bowl. Alternative serving suggestions: Chili Tacos: spoon chili into taco shell, top with chopped tomato, shredded lettuce and grated cheese. Chili Burger: spoon chili onto a bun, "Sloppy Joe" style.
