RoseWave's Texas Chili by RoseWave.com http://www.rosewave.com/Recipes/Chili/TexasChili.htm 3-pounds chili meat 1-can (15 ounce) tomato sauce 1-can (15 ounce) water 1-tsp Tabasco 3-heaping tbsp chili powder (pure) 1-heaping tbsp cumino powder 2-onions, chopped garlic to taste 1-tsp salt 1-tsp cayenne powder 1-level tsp paprika 1-dozen red jap peppers 4 or 5 dried ancho chili pods 2-heaping tsp flour Sear meat until gray. Add tomato sauce and one cup of water. Add other ingredients. Simmer for 1 1/4 hours. Add thickening (flour mixed with water). Simmer an additional 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
