Pinto Bean Chili http://www.biggsuperstore.com/tbsrecipes/soupsandstews/chili/pintobeanchili.htm 1 pound of ground beef 1 green pepper, chopped 1 large onion, chopped 1 cup of water Two 16 ounce cans of cans whole tomatoes, undrained & chopped 2 tablespoons of chili powder 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of salt Two 15 ounce cans of pinto beans, undrained Combine ground beef, pepper and onions in a Dutch oven. Cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain off drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans. Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add beans and simmer 5 minutes.
