German Chili by Gerri A. Urban 2lbs ground beef (or buffalo, turkey etc) 2 cans red kidney beans 2 8oz cans tomatoe sauce 2 2 oz cans tomatoe paste 1 cup macaroni elbows onions chilli pepper salt/pepper chives parsley brown the ground beef in a pan with the onions when done, put it in a 1 1/2 quart (or there about) crock pot. Add in the kidney beans, tomatoe sauce, tomatoe paste, add 2 8oz cans of water, mix well, add in chilli pepper, salt, pepper, chives and parsley, season to your preference, mix well and simmer all day. 1 hr Before serving, boil the macaroni (leave it slightly firm) and drain it well, mix into the chilli. Serve when ready, can top it off with cheeses (I use cheddar or Monterey jack cheeses shredded) Gerri A. Urban
