Fireman's Chili * 3 lbs.. chili meat * 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce * 1 cup water * 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce * 3 Tbs. chili powder * 1 Tbs. oregano * 2 onions, coarsely chopped * 1 tsp. cumin * Garlic to taste, finely chopped * 1 tsp. salt * 1 tsp. cayenne pepper * 1 tsp. paprika * 12 red peppers * 4 or 5 chili pods * 2 heaping teaspoons flour. Method: Saute meat till gray. Combine all ingredients except flour in a heavy pot. simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes. Thicken chili with mixture of flour and a little water. Simmer another 30 minutes. Call the fire department to hose out your mouth.
