Aunt Catherine's Green Chili Casserole Serves 6 1 lb lean ground beef 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 2 tbsp chili powder 10oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup 12 oz can evaporated milk 7 oz chopped green chilies 1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated 12 6 inch corn tortillas Brown the beef in a skillet. Drain off fat. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, mushroom soup, evaporated milk and green chilies. Mix it up. Place a layer or corn tortillas on the bottom of a lasagna dish. Add 1 ladle per tortilla on top. Add a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers until run out of stuff. Bake at 350F for 30 to 40 mins.
